Travelling with a baby is not an easy task as everyone
thinks. Only a mom can understand it is difficult than a roller coaster ride
and we’ve got to manage the ride to be peaceful. Planning each and everything
in advance and having a checklist before we start to travel will make our
travelling easier. Here are some easy to make food ideas that we can prepare in
advance so that feeding the baby or searching for food is no more a hassle. We
can avoid unhealthy food that are available outside by taking our home made
food from home.
Readymade food ideas while travelling with twins:
Purees are the best:
Make some home-made fruit or veggie purees and carry it with
you. Make sure you store it in a food gradable air tight container to keep it
fresh for a long time. If your twins are toddlers you can pack some snacks or
freshly cut fruits for them. You can go with purees to make your work easy.
Take boiled potatoes or steamed apple so that you can smash it while you use.
Fussy eaters will mostly demand tasty foods so you can prepare some mixed fruit
and veggie purees to make them mouthwatering. Purees are easy to prepare and
easy to digest as well.
Avocado Puree:
Take a ripe avocado peel out the skin, while selecting the
avocado make sure its skin is black, these kind of avocados are fully ripe the
dark green skin colored are usually raw, now take out the flesh and put it in
the blender, transfer the puree to the container. You can do the same with
chikoo and apple mixed together. Avocado and banana is another great
combination loved by kids.
Mango and banana puree:
Peel out the skin and take the inner part from mango and
banana, make a puree using a blender and your baby is going to be a fan of this
taste. Make sure the mango is sweet enough and ripe so that you don’t need to
add sugar for that extra sweetness.
Papaya and peach puree:
Look for some bright yellow colored papaya cut the fruit
into two halves and remove the seeds. Now take the peach and remove the seed
inside it. Put the fruit in a blender and make a puree using it. If peach is
not available you can use papaya alone.
Porridge:
You can make ragi or multi grain porridge very easily if the
porridge powder is ready, there are several porridge powders available in the
market that are made especially for kids. You can just mix the porridge powder
with hot water and then make porridge. This will be filling and healthy food
for the kid.

Roti:
You can make soft roti at home using a very minimum oil.
This can be stored for a day or two and it will remain fresh.
If you are travelling by car or train, it is always good to
take induction stove with you so that it will be easy for you to boil milk or
sterilize the food containers and milk feeding bottles. If you are traveling by
flight, you can check with the airways before airticket booking itself. You can also do some basic recipes like rice or dhal
for the child and feed it for the child whenever you are free. By following
these type of food recipes you can make sure that the child has had hygienic
food and need not worry about food allergies or any other health problems. We went to Jaipur

If you have a grown up kids you can take chess, business
games or Lego blocks for the kids so that they can involve themselves in those
indoor games. This will also make the boring travel time easy for them.
Outdoor play ideas:
Carry a ball, shuttle bat and cock, and ring ball so that
you can help them play outside if you are planning to visit a resort. You can
conduct various activities using a ball like passing the ball when the music is
played and the person who has the ball while the music stops should perform a
