Even you can serve it as evening snacks for them. They will like it. I inspired by the Marry brown Paneer wrap taste and wanted to try it at home followed by Veg burger. I have already posted veg burger recipe. Usually Paneer wraps tastes great with tortillas but if you are doing paneer wrap or any kind of wraps frequently, prepare with wheat flour. I have already posted tortilla recipe and phulka/roti recipe also. Check out how to make Paneer wrap at home here and make your dinner memorable one.

Paneer Wraps Recipe

Prep Time: 10 mins    |  Cook time: 8 Mins    |  Makes: 6 Paneer Wraps
Recipe Category : Main Course

Ingredients:

  • Tortillas(Preferable)/Soft Phulkas- 6
  • Paneer - 10 cubes
  • Butter - 1/2 tbsp(optional)
  • Carrot - 1 no grated(optional)
  • Cabbage - 75 g grated
  • Big onion - 1 finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 finely chopped
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder - 1/8 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce to spread on tortillas

Instructions:

1. Heat a pan. Add oil and butter.Add onions and saute well till they turn golden brown color.

2. Add ginger garlic paste and give a quick stir till the raw smell leaves.

3. Add tomatoes and saute well till they turn mushy.

4. Add paneer cubes and all the other ingredients except tomato sauce. Saute well till the raw smell leaves. You can also grate the paneer and add. I cut into 20 small cubes and added.

5. Saute well till the raw smell leaves from the paneer mixture. Switch off and allow it to cool.

6. Meanwhile spread little tomato sauce on one side of tortillas and keep it ready.

7. Once the paneer mixture is ready, keep 2 tbsp stuff on the tortilla where we spread the sauce and wrap it up. Insert a tooth pick on the center. I did not have it. I kept cooker whistle on it for sometime and took it off. The paneer wrap was in folded position without tooth pick.
