Hope you all know how good Aloe Vera gel is for the face and hair. Natural and fresh aloe vera is the best bet for anyone who loves to reap the full benefits of Aloe vera. However, it is not always possible to reach out to a fresh aloe vera all the time. People who have aloe vera plant can use it anytime as they wish which is not the case for the people who do not have fresh aloe vera plant at home. In this era of apartment life, it is hard to have an own aloe vera plant. Due to this reason, we need to rely on something from the market. There are so many beauty products available with aloe vera as primary content. However, I find Patanjali Aloe vera gel as one of the products available in the market with least amount of chemicals added. Since I do not have aloe vera here, I thought of trying Patanjali Aloe Vera gel from a nearby supermarket.





Natural Aloe vera is good for treating various skin problems like cuts, burns, insect bites and so on. I have never tried this Patanjali Aloe vera gel for treating cuts, burns and bites. I have seen few people that Patanjali Aloe vera gel helps in treating dark spots.

First let us talk about the price of this Patanjali Aloe vera gel. From the price point of view, Patanjali products never burn a hole in your pocket. It is just Rs.80 for 150 ml. Is it not a pocket-friendly product? Definitely yes.

Directions for using Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel:

You have to rub the gel on the clean and dry skin. You can leave as such as. No need to wash the gel after applying.

I would suggest not to use it before going outside. I feel that this gel is little bit sticky and it is better to apply in the evening or night time. You could wait till the gel becomes dry on your skin before applying any other products including talcum powder.

Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel Review:

I was not so happy to look at the ingredients first. I felt bad to see the product containing artificial colors and preservatives in an ayurvedic product like every other product. But I think preservative cannot be avoided in such a gel product to give longer shelf life. At least, the artificial colours could have been avoided. Due to this reason, I do not prefer to apply on my hair. I limit myself applying on the face only. With the artificial colors and preservatives, it is not very good to apply on your hair. 

During the first few days, when I applied the gel I got few pimples. But after some days, my skin got used to it. It gave a nice glow to the face which I loved it. But note the effect it is not permanent like any other beauty product. I have used it for a month but did not see any effect on the pigmented spots. I just noticed a glow on the face. The skin looked soft and smooth. 

The application is quite easy. As it is in the gel form, it is quite comfortable to apply on the face. 

Availability of the product will never be an issue. Patanjali products are available in almost all the places at least in the main cities. You can buy online too from various online e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, eBay and Bigbasket.

Final Verdict:

If you can get fresh and natural aloe vera gel, use it. Otherwise, you can try Patanjali aloe vera gel. There are 2 main advantages in using Patanjali Aloe Vera gel. One is the fact that this aloe vera gel is one of the inexpensive product from a reputed brand. The next thing is 90% of the product is aloe vera. Unlike many other products that are loaded with chemicals more than the primary ingredient, this gel is loaded with aloe vera.  For the price you pay, you can get a decent product for skin care. As I said, do not buy this product if you want aloe vera gel for your hair. For hair, it is always best to use natural aloe vera gel.

Try to get a  natural aloe vera plant plant instead of relying on the gel with chemical ingredients added at least when it comes to your hair. It is not quite difficult to grow an Aloe vera plant. It is quite easy when compared to other plants. Maintenance is also quite easy. So, if you find Aloe vera really helping you, it is better to grow an Aloe vera plant at your home itself.
